citation-A quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or author
MLA format- The MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing (2008) is the third edition of The MLA Style Manual, first published by the Modern Language Association of America in 1985

Annotated bibliography-An annotated bibliography is a bibliography that gives a summary of the research that has been done. It is still an alphabetical list of research sources.
Quoting-taking what someone says and recognizing them for it
Paraphrasing- a restatement of a text, passage, or work giving the meaning in another form
Summarizing- taking a story and giving a shorter version containg the main idea
Plagiarism- unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work, as by not crediting the author
